Nearly 138 years after postmaster Israel F. Eddy relocated the office and changed the name from Little Elk to Eddyville, Baldwin General Contracting INC is making some ground breaking moves of their own. 

Thanks to Superintendent Daniel Walsh and our hardworking crew at Baldwin General Contracting, Inc. the construction of the East Lincoln County Fire and Rescue Department Station 43 in Eddyville is officially underway.

Designed by Capri Architecture the ground-up build will feature a full mezzanine and heavy timber three-pinned arch trusses to honor the logging history of Eddyville.

The station will also be gaining 8,537 total square feet of new space to help fire fighters and first responders better serve the communities of East Lincoln County.
